mic_drag gives your players a rope they can actually use. Take it out of the inventory, walk up to another player, and drag them behind you on a line with real rope physics โ then tie that line to the back of a car and let the car do the pulling.
It is one inventory item, a rope prop that ships inside the resource, and an interaction that works through ox_target, qb-target or plain 3D text. Nothing to import into the database beyond the item itself.
Key features
Section titled โKey featuresโ- A rope item ๐ชข
Useropeto take the rope into your hand, use it again to put it away. The rope is never consumed. - Drag a player ๐ถ
With the rope out, grab a nearby player on foot. They go limp on the end of the line, can not shoot, and can not be hurt while they are being dragged. - Tie them to a vehicle ๐
While dragging, tie the rope to a nearby vehicle. It anchors at the back of the car, and you can untie it back into your hand or let the player go from the vehicle itself. - Change the length live ๐
Arrow Up and Arrow Down lengthen or shorten the rope while it is in use, between 1 m and 100 m by default. The player on the other end sees the same length. - Target or 3D text ๐ฏ
Pickox_target,qb-targetordrawtext. If the target you picked is not running, the rope falls back to 3D text on its own and switches back when the target starts. - A time limit, if you want one โฑ๏ธ
Off by default. Switch it on and the rope breaks by itself after the number of seconds you choose. - An open bridge ๐งฉ
The framework, item and interaction code sits inbridge/, unescrowed, so a custom inventory or text UI is one file to change.
What you need
Section titled โWhat you needโ| You need | Why |
|---|---|
| ESX, QBCore or QBox | Registers the rope item and checks the player carries it. Chosen with Config.Framework (qbcore on QBox) |
A rope item in your inventory | Ready-made definitions for ox_inventory, QBCore and ESX ship in inventory/ |
| ox_target or qb-target (optional) | For the target menu. Without one, drawtext needs nothing |
No SQL of its own, no ox_lib, no extra props resource โ the rope prop streams from the resourceโs own stream/ folder.
