Commands & permissions
Three commands, one admin check.
Commands
Section titled “Commands”| Command | Who | What it does |
|---|---|---|
/boosting | Everyone | Opens the tablet — only when Config.TabletOpenMode is 'command' or 'both'. The name is Config.TabletCommand |
/boostingconfig [tab] | Admins | Opens the admin panel, on the named tab if you give one. The name is Config.AdminCommand |
boostingseed | Server console only | Wipes the configuration tables and restores the shipped defaults. Player data is kept |
/boostingconfig tabs: locations, dropoffs, classes, vehicles, setups, progression, minigames, market, settings. Anything else opens Locations.
boostingseed refuses to run from inside the game, whoever types it — use the server console or RCON.
Who is an admin
Section titled “Who is an admin”One check, Bridge.IsAdmin in bridge/server_bridge.lua, decides both who can open /boostingconfig and who sees the Admin tab in the tablet. A player is an admin when either is true:
| Route | Where it is set | Works on |
|---|---|---|
The ACE in Config.AdminAce | server.cfg | Every framework, and the only route on standalone |
A rank in Config.AdminGroups | config.lua | ESX (the player’s group) and QBCore (HasPermission) |
Config.AdminAce ships as command, which txAdmin admins usually already have through group.admin. Set it to false to rely on ranks only.
Every admin action is checked again on the server when it arrives, not just when the panel opens.
The Admin tab in the tablet
Section titled “The Admin tab in the tablet”Separate from /boostingconfig, and about players rather than content.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Player list and lookup | Boosting profiles — level, XP, MB, heat, crew, online or not — searchable by tablet name or identifier |
| Give XP, Give MB, Set Heat, Set Level | Changes that player’s numbers, live if they are online |
| Ban, Unban | Locks that player out of boosting. A banned player’s tablet closes and will not reopen |
| Wipe | Back to level 1 with nothing: MB, heat, crew, challenges, perks, history and active contracts are cleared |
| Generate Contract | Hands that player a contract on the spot |
| Recent activity, full history | What they bought, delivered, scratched and were given |
Police
Section titled “Police”Not a permission, but decided by job names:
| What | Which jobs |
|---|---|
| Counted for minimum police online | The jobs in Config.PoliceJobs (police, sheriff, lspd, bcso) |
| Receive the dispatch alert | police, sheriff, lspd and bcso |
The alert itself is Bridge.PoliceDispatch in bridge/client_bridge.lua — edit it to send the alert through your dispatch resource instead of the default notification and blip.
