mic_questcreator lets you build quests in game, without writing a script. You place an NPC, give it a conversation, and hang an event off each answer. The event is a flow you draw in a node editor: spawn a car, wait for the player to reach a spot, check they carry an item, pay them, end.
Everything you build is saved in your database and appears for every player the moment you save it. The editor is behind an ACE permission, so only the people you choose can open it.
- A node editor for the logic π§©
45 nodes in nine groups β flow control, conditions, objectives, rewards, player actions, world spawning, environment, feedback and integration. Drag them in, wire them up, and use copy, paste, undo, redo, multi-select, zoom and a search bar while you do. The full list is in 𧩠The nodes.
- Quest givers that talk π¬
An NPC with a model and position you pick in game, a welcome message, a title and subtitle, and as many question-and-answer options as you like. One quest can have several locations.
- Cooldowns per answer β³
Each dialog option can be unlimited, one time only, daily, weekly or a custom number of seconds β remembered per character in the database.
- What happens when they die β οΈ
Per event: cancel the quest, restart it, carry on, or run a custom action β with an optional respawn at the quest giver, the default spawn or coordinates you choose.
- It cleans up after itself π§Ή
Peds, vehicles, objects and attached props spawned by a quest can be removed when it ends. Players can also walk away from a quest with /cancelquest.
- Vehicles with keys or a lock to pick π
A quest car starts locked. The player either searches for the keys or breaks in through a built-in lockpick minigame, optionally needing an item. Keys are handed over through fmLib.
- Progress that survives a reconnect πΎ
Where a player is in a quest, which dialogs they have used and what they have unlocked is stored per character.
- Community events π
Browse events other servers have shared and import them with one click, or export your own to a file.
- Thirteen languages π£οΈ
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Arabic, Dutch and Czech β the editor, the dialog window and the notifications.
- Open where it matters π
config.lua, both bridge files and the locales are left unencrypted.
