The apps

Thirty-one apps. Most of them need nothing from your server; the ones that do are marked, and what they need is one line of config each.

Which of them exist at all is Config.AppList in shared/config/apps.lua: installed puts an app on the phone, store puts it in the App Store for a price, and off makes it stop existing — not hidden, gone.

All four are accounts of their own — a handle and a password, not a character name — so somebody can be one person in the city and another one online. The tick beside a name is handed out by the city with exports.mic_phone:SetVerified(src, app, true), and never asked for.

Nearby is the phone’s AirDrop: a contact card, a photo, a document, handed to whoever is standing next to you. It opens from the share sheet rather than from the Home Screen.

The web half is the same phone in a browser, for a player who has closed the game. It is in Settings, it is a six-digit code, and what it may open is Config.Web.Apps.

Drag one icon onto another and hold it there for a moment: the two go into a folder. Tapping the folder’s name renames it, holding an icon inside it starts editing, and taking the last app out makes the folder stop existing. Nothing about it is configured — it belongs to whoever is holding the phone.
