Every setting is in one file, config.lua — the only file left open in escrow_ignore. The client and server scripts are escrowed.
| File | What it decides |
|---|
config.lua | Framework, props, distances, timings, detector, defuser, what items come back, beeping, webhook |
html/ | The detonator phone and the C4 minigame screens |
inventory_items/ | Ready-made item definitions: ox_inventory.md, qb_inventory.md, esx_sql_items.md |
inventory_images/ | Item icons: car_bomb.png, phone_detonator.png, bomb_detector.png, bomb_defuser.png, defused_bomb.png |
There is no locales/ folder and no bridge folder. The framework is picked with Config.Framework.
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.Framework | esx or qbcore. On QBox, use qbcore — QBox runs QBCore resources through its compatibility layer. Anything else stops the resource on start | esx |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.BombProp | The bomb prop held in the right hand | prop_bomb_01 |
Config.ExplosionType | The game’s explosion type used when a bomb goes off | 4 |
Config.PlacementDistance | How close (m) you must be to the vehicle | 2.0 |
Config.PlacementDuration | Length of the planting animation, in ms | 2000 |
Config.RemoveItem | Take one car_bomb from the inventory when a bomb is planted | false |
Config.UseC4GameForPlacement | Planting needs the C4 minigame. A failed game blows the vehicle up on the spot | false |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.DetectorProp | The scanner prop | w_am_digiscanner |
Config.DetectorDistance | How far (m) the detector finds bombed vehicles | 20.0 |
Config.DetectorFacingAngle | How far off-centre (degrees) the camera can point and still beep | 30.0 |
Config.DetectorMaxBeepInterval | Time between beeps at the edge of the range, in ms | 1000 |
Config.DetectorMinBeepInterval | Time between beeps right next to the bomb, in ms | 200 |
Config.DetectorBeepRange | How close (m) other players must stand to hear your detector | 3.0 |
Config.ShowDetectorBlip | Put a blip on bombed vehicles in range while the detector is out | true |
Config.DetectorBlipSprite | Blip icon | 486 |
Config.DetectorBlipColor | Blip colour | 1 (red) |
Config.DetectorBlipScale | Blip size | 0.8 |
Config.DetectorBlipDuration | Still in config.lua, but not read by the current version. A blip stays while the vehicle is in range and the detector is out | 30000 |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.DefuserDistance | How close (m) you must be to the vehicle | 3.0 |
Config.DefuserDuration | Length of the defusing animation, in ms | 5000 |
Config.RemoveDefuserItem | Take one bomb_defuser from the inventory after a defusal | false |
Config.UseC4GameForDefusal | Defusing needs the C4 minigame. A failed game blows the vehicle up | false |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.GiveBackBomb | Give the defuser a bomb item after a successful defusal | true |
Config.ReturnDefusedBomb | When the option above is on: true gives defused_bomb, false gives car_bomb | false |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.BombBeepEnabled | A planted bomb beeps for anyone within 5 m of the vehicle | true |
| Option | What it does | Default |
|---|
Config.WebhookEnabled | Send Discord messages | true |
Config.WebhookURL | Your Discord webhook | YOUR_WEBHOOK_HERE |
A message is sent when a bomb is detonated, defused (the timed defusal), when a plant fails the C4 game, and when a defusal fails the C4 game. Each one names the player who planted the bomb — their name, framework identifier, Discord, Steam and licence identifiers — with the plate, the coordinates and the reason.
These are fixed in the scripts and are not in config.lua.
| Holding | Key | What it does |
|---|
| The bomb | E | Plant it on the nearest vehicle in range |
| The bomb or the toolbox | Left or right mouse | Put it away without doing anything |
| The toolbox | E | Start defusing the nearest bombed vehicle in range |
| Any of the items | Use it again | Put it away |
On the detonator phone:
| Key | What it does |
|---|
| ↑ / ↓ | Pick a bomb |
| Green | Detonate the selected bomb now, or confirm a countdown |
| Stopwatch | Start typing a countdown, in seconds, on the number keys |
| ← | Delete the last digit |
| Home | Leave countdown entry |
| Red | Leave countdown entry, or close the phone |
| Esc / Backspace | Close the phone |
A bomb on a countdown shows the seconds left next to it in the list.
Five lights show a sequence of red, blue, green and yellow. When it says REPEAT SEQUENCE, click the buttons in the same order. One wrong colour — or pressing Esc during the game — counts as a failure, and the vehicle explodes.
There is no locale file. The on-screen text (the phone, the minigame and the blip name) is English and lives in the escrowed and UI files, not in config.lua.
