Troubleshooting

The things that go wrong on a first install, and what each one means.

restart does not re-read fxmanifest.lua. If you added a file — a new locale, for example — run refresh in the server console first, then restart mic_crypto. For a change to a config file, restart mic_crypto is enough.

Nothing works and the console shows errors about ESX or QBCore

Section titled “Nothing works and the console shows errors about ESX or QBCore”

mic_crypto looks for your framework the moment it starts. If it starts first, it finds nothing and every purchase, callback and notification fails. Put ensure mic_crypto below your framework, oxmysql, fmLib and mic_crypto_props in server.cfg, and restart the server.

On QBox, that means below qbx_core. QBox is found through its QBCore compatibility — qbx_core provides qb-core — so once it starts first there is nothing else to set.

fmLib is a hard dependency — mic_crypto will not start without it. Install it and start it before mic_crypto.

I can buy nothing, or the console shows a SQL error about a mic_crypto_ table

Section titled “I can buy nothing, or the console shows a SQL error about a mic_crypto_ table”

install.sql has not been imported. Only the market table creates itself; warehouses, wallets, shared access and trades come from that file. Import it once.

Using a part says I can only do that inside a warehouse

Section titled “Using a part says I can only do that inside a warehouse”

That is on purpose. Rigs, GPUs, PSUs and fans are carried and installed inside your warehouse only. Enter it from the dealer’s shop first.

The item is not in your inventory’s item list, or its name is different. The names must be exactly the ones in Installation. On QBCore, check the entry is marked usable. Usable items are registered through fmLib, so it has to be running and able to see your inventory.

The part in my hands is invisible, or I cannot see the rigs

Section titled “The part in my hands is invisible, or I cannot see the rigs”

mic_crypto_props is not running, or started after mic_crypto. Start it before, and keep its folder name.

The GPU or fan will not go in: “not enough power”

Section titled “The GPU or fan will not go in: “not enough power””

The rig’s PSUs cannot carry it. Install a PSU first, or a bigger one. A rig’s draw is every GPU and fan in it; its capacity is every PSU in it. The table at the top of config/shop.lua shows which PSUs each GPU tier needs.

Markers only show over rigs that still have a free slot of that kind — 5 GPUs, 4 PSUs and 8 fans per rig. A full rig shows nothing for that part.

I dropped what I was carrying — is it gone?

Section titled “I dropped what I was carrying — is it gone?”

No. X puts it down without using it; the item is only taken from your inventory when it is installed. Use it again to pick it back up.

One player at a time can use a warehouse’s laptop. Somebody else — a player you shared the warehouse with, usually — has it open. If they disconnected, the laptop frees itself.

The laptop opens but the screen stays blank

Section titled “The laptop opens but the screen stays blank”

The laptop screen loads fonts, icons and the 3D viewer from public CDNs (Google Fonts, cdnjs, jsDelivr). A player whose connection blocks those will see an empty or unstyled screen. Also check that the folder is still named mic_crypto — the screen calls the script by that name.

Mining only goes to coins you have allocated hashrate to. Open the laptop and move the sliders — unallocated hashrate earns nothing.

Config.OfflineMining is off, or Config.OfflineRate is 0. Both are in config/config.lua.

With Config.ReceiveProductsDirectlyToInventory = false they come as a box in the warehouse — go to it and collect it. You cannot buy again until the box is collected. If you were not inside a warehouse when you paid, they went straight to your inventory instead.

They change every 15 minutes, not every restart. A new coin starts at its basePrice.

Config.Interaction must match what you run, spelled exactly: ox_target (underscore), qb-target (dash) or drawtext. Any other value and no prompt shows at all.

Text shows “Translation [xx][key] does not exist”

Section titled “Text shows “Translation [xx][key] does not exist””

Your locale file is missing that key. Copy it over from locales/en.lua. There is no fallback to English.
