Items
Seven items ship with the resource: the tablet and six tools. Three more things in the tool shop are buffs, not items. And the lockpick step checks for two items that are not in this package.
Where the definitions and images are
Section titled “Where the definitions and images are”| File | For |
|---|---|
items/ox_inventory.lua | ox_inventory — copy the entries into ox_inventory/data/items.lua |
items/qbcore_items.lua | QBCore — copy the entries into qb-core/shared/items.lua |
items/esx_items.lua | ESX’s own inventory — the rows to add to your items table |
items/images/ | One PNG per item, named after the item. Copy them to ox_inventory/web/images/ or qb-inventory/html/images/ |
The tablet
Section titled “The tablet”| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
mic_boosting_tablet | Opens the tablet when used. The name is Config.TabletItem in config.lua |
Needed only when Config.TabletOpenMode is 'item' (the default) or 'both'. In 'command' mode the tablet opens with /boosting and nobody needs the item.
The tool items
Section titled “The tool items”Bought in the tablet’s Tools tab and put in the player’s inventory. Holding one when a contract starts is what makes it work: it is used up on that contract. The EMP Jammer is the exception — it is used up when you start on the lock.
| Item | Effect | Shipped price | From class |
|---|---|---|---|
mic_signal_booster | Shrinks the search circle around the car | 40 MB | D |
mic_gps_tracker | Shows exactly where the car is | 75 MB | D |
mic_police_scanner | Delays the police alert by 15 seconds | 90 MB | D |
mic_emp_jammer | Skips the lockpick minigame — and the lockpick check. Used up automatically when you start on the lock | 150 MB | D |
mic_fake_plates | Resets your heat to 0 the moment you buy it — it never reaches the inventory | 280 MB | C |
mic_radar_jammer | Delays the police alert by 45 seconds (used only if you have no police scanner) | 500 MB | B |
Prices, currency (MB or cash), the effect value, the minimum class and whether each one is on sale at all are edited in the admin panel’s Market tab.
The buffs
Section titled “The buffs”Also in the Tools tab, but applied to your profile rather than given as an item — they need no item definition and no image.
| Buff | Effect | Shipped price | From class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Time Extension | Adds 5 minutes to the next contract’s timer | 110 MB | D |
| XP Booster | Doubles the XP of the next contract | 200 MB | D |
| Double Payout | Doubles the MB of the next contract | 350 MB | C |
The lockpicks it checks for
Section titled “The lockpicks it checks for”Picking the lock on a contract car needs one of these in the player’s inventory:
| Item | Needed for |
|---|---|
lockpick | Classes D, C and B |
advancedlockpick | Classes A, S and S+ |
They are not included in this package. QBCore ships both. On ESX or ox_inventory, make sure your server defines them and that players can get them — from a shop, a crafting bench, anywhere. Without one, the player is told they need a lockpick and sent back to the car.
A player holding an EMP Jammer skips both the minigame and this check.
Rewards that are items
Section titled “Rewards that are items”Challenges, milestones and achievements can pay out money (cash), crypto (MB) or an item. An item reward goes through the same bridge as everything else — ox_inventory first, otherwise the framework — so the item has to exist in your inventory.
